Ending September, Jennifer Lopez tied the knot with dancer Cris Judd in a relatively quiet ceremony at a private residence in Calabasas, a suburban community in the hills overlooking the California Coastline, north of Malibu. This was quite a change from her usually highly publicized affairs such as her Puff Daddy fling and provocatively dressed public appearances. Jennifer made quite a splash in California when she arrived at the Grammy Awards last year in the famous dress that was the highlight of the first Grammies of the new millennium and was probably the biggest news item of the event, even overshadowing the Awards themselves. The attention was not so much to the dress itself as to what there wasn't of the dress - not much body coverage, but it made for lots of news coverage. Even before all the Grammy coverage, Jennifer Lopez was already pretty much a household name, being recognized as one of the hottest new Latino stars on the scene today. Her major fame came with her starring title role in "Selena", but her career had roots going back some time prior to that $$ million dollar $$ windfall. Did you know Jennifer Lopez married Jacob Vargas back in the 1920's? Well, not literally, but their characters in the film My Family, starring Edward James Olmos and Jimmy Smits, can be seen in an animated wedding photograph at the link below. Jacob Vargas now stars in an independent film "Road Dogz" that showcases his talent and he can also be seen with Michael Douglas in Traffic. The $$

highly publicized at the time, but Jennifer Lopez is reportedly now in the $$
Nine Million Dollar $$ category for her recent film, The Wedding
Planner. This may be just the beginning of the super-bucks if she
keeps drawing the degree of publicity that she has been,
